Dirk Brossé (1960-) is a Flemish all-round musician who over the last ten years has acquired international renown as a conductor and composer. As a composer, too, he is very versatile: he writes film music and concert music for various types of ensemble. His most personal pieces are those he calls ‘ethno-classical symphonies'.
