About writers from the second generation of immigrants, uniting two cultures in their books, but also about ‘exiled authors' who are trying to find a new home in the Dutch language. They revitalise the Dutch language, see Dutch customs and traditions from a new angle, and shed new light on Dutch literature. But above all they are ‘just' writers. For, after all, don't all real writers work between different cultures, aren't they all in one way or another displaced persons?
