Like the Music of our Time. The Rhythm in the Work of Photographer and Filmmaker Anton Corbijn
(Johan de Vos) The Low Countries - 2004, № 12, pp. 158-163
Anton Corbijn is known for his photographic portraits of today's rich and famous: musicians, academics, models and actors, writers and directors. People want to look at his photographs, and celebrities want to be photographed by him, because Corbijn takes photographs in the same way that musicians make music: with a sense of rhythm and of the interaction between harmony and disharmony. Corbijn's photographs evoke the dark bass and drums in the music of our time.
