The Delta ports (Antwerp, Rotterdam, Zeeland Seaports (Vlissingen and Terneuzen), Ghent, Zeebrugge) are far and away the most important gateway in Northwestern Europe for the import and export of commodities, industrial products and consumer goods. The creation of one Delta port is not something that will happen tomorrow. However, more tangible cooperation is certainly a possibility in the shorter term.
