The Alamire Foundation's aim is to encourage scholarly research into the music in the Low Countries from the Middle Ages until the end of the Ancien Régime, with the main emphasis on the Golden Age of polyphony in the 15th and 16th centuries. It also reaches across frontiers and stimulates international co-operation.
