In the work of the last few years the painter's palette has assumed the function of the lid, and this attribute floats like a cloud of inspiration in space searching for the Mystery of the Milky Way. With this colourful and flowing symbol Brands pays lyrical homage to a form of painting which lies in the constellation of the imagination.
