On 13 and 14 April, the Minatori di Memorie conference on the cultural memory of mines and Italian migration in Limburg and Wallonia (Belgian and Dutch) will be held at the University of Bologna.
Historians, anthropologists, geographers, linguistic sociologists, writers will exchange views on this complex and controversial cultural heritage. The Flemish director of Italian origin Remo Perrotti and the Italian director Filippo Biagianti will present their respective docufilms Mamma Irma (2014) and Musi neri (2014).
