More information

In his first Dutch solo exhibition A rolling stone gathers no moss, Kasper De Vos (1988) presents an exceptionally developed sculptural oeuvre in the Flemish cultural house De Brakke Grond. Working from his studio in Ghent and inspired by traditional sculptors such as Brancusi and the work of the Dadaists, Kasper creates seemingly simple yet intellectually complex assemblies.

His sculptures radiate a provocative individuality: they invite you to take a closer look, make connections and let go of existing material conventions. Used, leftover materials lose their traditional function and a new colourful reality unfolds.
