This privacy statement applies to all our current and former subscribers; participants in activities; individuals who have shown interest in our activities, services or products; customers; prospects and suppliers.

For what purposes do we process which personal data?

Your personal data are processed by Ons Erfdeel (NPO) for the following purposes and legal grounds:

  • Subscription administration and service to subscribers and buyers of our publications (contract execution).
  • Sending information about our activities and publications; newsletters and invitations (legitimate interest).

To the extent that the processing of personal data is based on consent, you always have the right to withdraw that consent.

For the purposes mentioned above, we may request and/or process the following personal data from you:

• Personal identity details: surname, name, address
• Private contact details: phone number, email address
• Identity details issued by the government: ID card number
• National registry number
• Personal details: date of birth, place of birth, gender, nationality
• Financial details (e.g., account number, payments, etc.)
• Attendance

We only collect personal data that you provide to us through various means (e.g., registration forms, fill-in and contact forms on our website, personal/telephone/email contact, etc.). We do not collect personal data through third parties.

Providing data yourself or not

The mentioned data must, if applicable, be provided to become a subscriber or to participate in the organisation’s activities. With the exception of:

The consequence of not providing the data is not publishing targeted photos of you and not receiving unsolicited commercial emails.

  • Storing and processing data in the Cloud (via a Cloud Service Provider)

  • Handling (financial) administration and social secretariat
  • Producing (and distributing) physical or digital magazines, books, newsletters and invitations

We never disclose personal data to external service providers (processors) with whom we do not have a processing agreement (or the same provisions have been included in the contract terms).

With external service providers (processors), we make the necessary agreements to ensure the security of your personal data.

Disclosure to third parties – recipients

We share personal data with the following external parties:

  • Your data are stored on an external server and/or with external organisations (e.g., Mailchimp)
  • Partners with whom we organise collaborative activities (e.g., co-productions involving two or more organisations) for which participant lists are exchanged
